Mail-Order Pharmacy Director – Venlo/Eindhoven

Your Mission

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious pharmacist who wants to work with new digital and logistic concepts, and wants to take the next step to a leadership position in an international setting with lots of growth and development potential. Your key tasks are:

  • Develop and run Apothera’s pharmacy mail-order operations
  • Support developing the pharmaceutical part of the mail-order logistics concept together with the warehousing/logistics team, including automated dispensing and pouchpacking solutions (medicijnrol)
  • Develop the quality management concept and constantly ensure compliance of our operations with all internal and regulatory standards
  • Develop the pharmaceutical check and patient consultation concept together with the German pharmacy consultation team
  • Help to recruit, build and lead the team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians

Your Skills

  • Degree in pharmacy, with good academic track record
  • Registered pharmacist in the Netherlands
  • 6+ years experience from both community pharmacy and company setting (e.g. pharmaceutical industry, hospital, wholesale)
  • Ideally 2+ years experience from pharmacy mail-order or similar settings (wholesale/distribution, manufacturing, central fill, pouch packing, pharmacy chain management)
  • Expertise in quality management, GMP and GDP
  • Leadership ability and initial track record from leadership roles
  • German language skills desirable
